The hamlets of sun
The tour allows you to cross a part of a peasant and autochthonous territory away from the Walser style that characterizes the high portion of the valley.
The excellent exposure to the sun has encouraged human settlement and the countryside’s activities. From here you can enjoy unique views from the Alps to the plains and lakes between hills dotted with forests of beech and chestnut. The tour runs between Cellio and Zuccaro where we’ll visit the parish churches (that of Cellio has the highest bell tower of Valsesia, 56 m), optionally Sorzano’s Taragn, and the beautiful fortified medieval village of Guardabosone which is the home of five Trade Museums.
